Reunited

My better half has found me again! He made it home safely last night at round about 3:00 am. I was groggy and half-asleep, but still managed to give him somewhat of a welcome home hug -- I think.

We went to a wonderful church this morning. We had gone to it for about 6 weeks when we were church shopping last year, and we loved it. We decided not to call it home because it was just too far away (45 minutes) for us to really get involved there. But it was close to the beach and was a nice opportunity to go to church with the visiting in-laws.

We spent the day at the beach house, eating lunch and lounging in the sand. It was 95 degrees or so, and since I LOVE the heat, I could have stayed out there for hours and loved every minute. However, Clark, much like the rest of his family, was a weenie and couldn't take the sun. Not wanting to lay out alone, I grumbled back inside and tried to clean up.

We went to dinner at a themed restaurant honoring Edgar Allan Poe. It served burgers called "The Raven" and "Tell-Tale Heart"...you get the idea. Anyway, it was good, cheap food, and a good time was had by all.

We came home early to feed Rockster and enjoy each other's company. So, hopefully we'll have a nice night ahead! :)

Back to work in the morning......arghggrhhhh.
