NoFun McChore *Updated*

Here's what today looked like:
  • Woke up and got ready for work
  • Let dog out
  • Fed animals breakfast
  • Packed up bag lunches
  • Commuted
  • Worked 8 hours
  • Commuted home
  • Let dog out
  • Fed Bunny
  • Unloaded dishwasher
  • Made dinner
  • Ate dinner
  • Washed dishes
  • Folded laundry
  • Fed animals dinner
And now here it is, 7:40 at night, and I am blogging. The first non-chore of the day. And after I post this at approximately 7:45, I will do the following:
  • Put laundry away
  • Go to the store for essential groceries
  • Prepare lunches for tomorrow
  • Shower
  • Maaaaybe write another blog post to schedule for tomorrow morning
  • Go to bed.
This is not a pity-post, really it isn't. But this is a reason that I have been a bit bummed out recently. I have so many interests and things I want to do and learn how to do, but I don't ever have time to do anything. I'd love to start my own business but I'm stuck in a rut these days. I feel like I need to have time to grow a business before actually branching out and doing it for a living. And at this rate, it's just not going to happen.

The good news is that I love my wonderful husband, I love my family, and I really like my job. So you see, this is not a pity post. Moms have it harder than this I'm sure.

*Updated* Clark did actually go out with me to the store, and instead of just running grocery errands, he did let me mosy around Target for a while. I got a shirt and Hershey Kisses, so I guess it wasn't such a boring night after all!

Eh, moms don't have it harder... we have it different.

I know exactly what you mean, though.

*hugs* It gets better. And yes, having a husband who occasionally indulges your whims like that is great :)
