Well, the truth is that this time, I plain old forgot about blogging. I wasn't tired or sick or even too busy. I just for-got.
I've been working on some other things that I'm really excited about. I'll share with you when I'm good and ready, though. :-P
Soooooo, some photos to share......hrmrmrmmmm.....
Oh! I got a haircut! This news is about a month old, but hey, better late than never.
My locks needed some love. By chopping off the length, I was able to donate to the Locks OF Love foundation. 11 inches total. To be honest though, my hair's a bit too short for my liking these days....I miss it being long. Sure, it's nice to not wake up in the middle of the night because I'm laying on my hair and can't move my head. And it's also nice to not have to pull off long embarrassing hairs off of my shirts at work. It's nice that washing my hair now takes 3 minutes instead of 10, and brushing it is a breeze. But I think I look like a goon. (And no, I'm not saying that so that you will guiltfully shower me with compliments now. Seriously. Don't.) My face shape just looks pudgy when my hair is shorter. Good thing it grows back, right? I will be growing it back out, but not as long as before.
I will say this: the cut does NOT look good straight. My hair is naturally a bit wavy, and as you can tell, it just looks crooked and ugly when it's straight. I don't wear it that way....now that it's short it's mega-wavy, so I just scrunch it up and it's hunky dory.
I couldn't get it colored the day of my haircut, but I did go back a few days later and got full highlights. Clark said he preferred it blonde, and I'm happy to oblige. I'll get another dose of ditz in a couple of months. I didn't take creepy before and after pictures of the color, so you'll have to settle for a decent picture of Clark and I from last weekend.
Sweet dreams, friends!
